Milwaukee rallied with three seventh-inning runs, then pulled away to beat Los Angeles and move within one victory of the World Series.
The MLB playoff score from Wednesday, October 14, 2026, gave the Milwaukee Brewers a commanding National League Championship Series advantage. Milwaukee defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 in Game 3 at Dodger Stadium and now leads the best-of-seven series 3-0.
Although Los Angeles briefly moved ahead in the sixth inning, Milwaukee answered immediately. Jake Bauers supplied the decisive swing, while Jackson Chourio and Garrett Mitchell also homered. The final score, series record and pitching decisions were verified against MLB’s official October 14 scoreboard.

Jackson Chourio gave Milwaukee an immediate lift by launching Blake Snell’s opening pitch for a leadoff home run. Moreover, the blast moved Chourio ahead of William Contreras for the most career postseason homers in Brewers history with six.
Robert Gasser protected that 1-0 edge through five scoreless innings. Milwaukee’s defense helped him along the way, as Luis Lara, Chourio and Garrett Mitchell each made notable catches to keep Los Angeles off the board.
However, the Dodgers finally broke through in the sixth. Will Smith doubled home Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman against Abner Uribe, giving Los Angeles a 2-1 lead. DL Hall then entered and struck out Tommy Edman to prevent further damage.
Milwaukee responded in the seventh with its biggest inning of the night. After Snell worked deep into a difficult at-bat, Bauers hit a go-ahead two-run homer. Mitchell followed with a solo shot, stretching the Brewers’ lead to 4-2. Consequently, Snell finished with three home runs allowed after surrendering none across his previous 10 starts.
The Brewers added insurance in each of the final two innings. Brice Turang scored on a wild pitch in the eighth, and Joey Ortiz delivered an RBI single in the ninth. Meanwhile, Hall continued to silence the Dodgers and earned the victory.
Trevor Megill recorded the final three outs for his fourth postseason save. As a result, Milwaukee moved one win from the World Series, while Los Angeles fell into the 0-3 deficit that no MLB team has overcome in a best-of-seven postseason series.
