The Dodgers struck first in the second inning. Shohei Ohtani drew a leadoff walk, Teoscar Hernández singled, and Andy Pages drove Ohtani home with a one-out single. However, Jacob Misiorowski escaped further damage with an inning-ending double play.
Milwaukee pulled even in the fourth. Brice Turang led off the inning by driving a 2-0 pitch from Skubal over the wall in left-center for a solo home run.
One inning later, the Brewers manufactured the winning run. Garrett Mitchell walked, Cooper Pratt moved him to second with a sacrifice bunt, and rookie Luis Lara singled to center. As a result, Milwaukee moved ahead 2-1.
From there, the Brewers’ bullpen controlled the game. DL Hall earned the victory, while Trevor Megill worked through two two-out walks in the ninth. Finally, Mookie Betts flied to center to end the threat and give Megill his third postseason save.
Meanwhile, Skubal struck out seven over five innings but absorbed the loss after allowing both Milwaukee runs. The Dodgers collected seven hits and left nine runners aboard. Therefore, Milwaukee’s ability to convert its limited chances proved decisive.

- Winning pitcher: DL Hall (2-0)
