San Francisco stars George Kittle and Nick Bosa were expected to travel to Australia after recovering from serious injuries. Their availability would strengthen the 49ers ahead of an important divisional opener against the Rams.

Matthew Brennan Wins His Third Vuelta Stage

British cyclist Matthew Brennan continued an exceptional Grand Tour debut by winning Stage 11 of the Vuelta a España.

Tiger Woods reached a plea agreement in his impaired-driving case, avoiding jail but receiving a five-year suspension of his driver’s license.
