DALLAS — Arike Ogunbowale erupted for a season-high 32 points and Jessica Shepard delivered a career-high 26 as Dallas knocked off Indiana 91-85, ending the Fever’s five-game winning streak. Shepard did most of her damage early, pouring in 22 points before halftime, before Ogunbowale took over with 25 after the break. Indiana’s Kelsey Mitchell answered with a huge 37-point performance, but Dallas outscored the Fever 49-43 over the final two quarters. Awak Kuier also made her presence felt defensively, recording seven blocks as the Wings improved to 21-16.

Connecticut stayed within striking distance through two quarters, trailing just 48-47 at halftime, before Las Vegas imposed itself after the break. The Aces won the third quarter 27-16, transforming the one-point halftime edge into a 75-63 advantage. Las Vegas kept its foot on the accelerator with another 26 points in the fourth while holding Connecticut to 15. The victory pushed the Aces to 25-13, while the Sun fell to 9-26.
Turning Point: The third quarter. Las Vegas outscored Connecticut 27-16 immediately after halftime and turned what had been a one-possession battle into a comfortable advantage.

LOS ANGELES — Atlanta produced one of the season’s most overwhelming offensive performances, hammering Los Angeles 124-88 and eliminating the Sparks from playoff contention. The Dream exploded for 34 first-quarter points and led 34-12 after one, then never let up, scoring at least 28 points in every quarter. Rhyne Howard scored 26 points to lead an Atlanta attack that shot a blistering 63.9 percent from the field and connected on 16 of 26 3-pointers. Cameron Brink led Los Angeles with 14 points, but the Sparks simply couldn’t keep pace as Atlanta improved to 23-13.
Turning Point: There wasn’t much suspense after the opening quarter. Atlanta’s 34-12 first-period blitz established a 22-point advantage and immediately put Los Angeles in comeback mode.
Star of the Game: Rhyne Howard, Atlanta — 26 points. Howard spearheaded an extraordinary Dream offensive performance that finished with 124 points.
