Gamble Guy is putting his confidence in three road favorites for Saturday’s college football slate. His selections for North American Talk Radio are Alabama -6 at Mississippi State, Florida -5 at Missouri and BYU -6.5 at TCU.

Together, the picks form a three-team against-the-spread parlay. In his videos, Gamble Guy quoted a MyBookie price of +600, with a promotional boost to +612. Those figures describe the offer he discussed when recording; current prices and promotion eligibility may differ.

The common thread is straightforward: each favorite has a route to building a lead through sustained offense. Alabama’s case rests on its passing attack and finishing drives. Florida’s appeal centers on its ability to run the ball. BYU’s selection depends on controlling possessions and creating enough separation to clear a spread just below seven points.

However, the videos also contain a useful counterweight to that confidence. The simulations Gamble Guy reports favor all three teams to win, but they offer a much less decisive picture against the spread. This article presents those results as figures reported in the videos. The underlying model, assumptions and individual trial results were not supplied for independent review.

No. 7 Alabama at No. 16 Mississippi State: Passing offense drives the pick

Gamble Guy’s selection: Alabama -6

Alabama opens the card with a road assignment against a Mississippi State team that has earned its place in the national conversation. Mississippi State’s official preview lists the matchup between No. 7 Alabama and No. 16 Mississippi State for noon Eastern at Davis Wade Stadium.

In his first video, Gamble Guy identifies Alabama’s passing game as the clearest path to a cover. His argument is that productive possessions must turn into touchdowns, allowing the Crimson Tide to establish a margin that survives a competitive fourth quarter.

That distinction matters at -6. A seven-point Alabama victory would cover. A six-point victory would produce a push under standard spread settlement rules. Anything narrower would leave Mississippi State on the winning side of the spread.

The host also emphasizes red-zone execution and opportunities to disrupt Mississippi State’s protection. These are connected ideas: Alabama needs to finish its own drives while forcing enough empty possessions to create breathing room.

Still, Mississippi State brings a substantial offensive threat. Its official preview credits quarterback Kamario Taylor with 14 passing touchdowns entering the game, tied for the national lead. The school also describes consecutive comeback victories against South Carolina and Missouri.

Those recoveries make the Bulldogs more than an opponent Alabama can expect to put away simply by scoring first. The analytical question is whether the Crimson Tide can keep extending drives while limiting Taylor’s ability to answer.

Gamble Guy’s reported simulation results reflect that tension. Alabama won 65 of 100 trials, while covering -6 in 51. He described an average score of approximately Alabama 37.5, Mississippi State 32.

That average margin sits below the six-point spread. It does not invalidate an Alabama selection, but it means the simulation should not be presented as overwhelming evidence for the cover.

The case for Alabama therefore relies on the host’s judgment that its offensive execution and defensive performance can produce a better margin than that central projection. The risk is a game in which Mississippi State’s scoring keeps the final difference inside one touchdown.

No. 8 Florida at No. 25 Missouri: Gators look to carry their running game on the road

Gamble Guy’s selection: Florida -5

Florida’s recent offensive production supplies the foundation for Gamble Guy’s second pick. The Gators enter the matchup 4-0, according to Missouri’s official preview, following conference victories over Auburn and Ole Miss.

The Ole Miss result is particularly relevant to the host’s argument. Florida won 52-28 and rushed for 302 yards with six rushing touchdowns. Missouri’s preview also lists running back Jadan Baugh at 600 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns through four games.

That gives Florida a plausible route to controlling the game without relying entirely on explosive passes. Consistent rushing gains can shorten third downs, extend possessions and make an opposing defense commit more resources near the line of scrimmage.

For an away favorite, that approach can also reduce the number of chances the home team receives to change the game. Nevertheless, fewer possessions do not automatically produce a cover. Florida still needs to convert its opportunities into enough points to establish a margin.

Corrected Rankings

The current ranking needs a correction from the video description: Missouri is No. 25 in its official game preview, while Florida is No. 8. The matchup remains a ranked SEC contest.

Gamble Guy reports that Florida won 60 of 100 simulations and covered -5 in 44. He gives an approximate average score of Florida 31, Missouri 26.

A 31-26 finish would be a push at Florida -5, rather than a winning spread wager. A six-point victory would cover; a four-point victory would not.

That makes this the clearest example on the card of a favorable straight-up forecast that does not necessarily support laying the stated points. The host likes Florida’s ability to sustain drives, but his reported trial results leave considerable room for Missouri to remain within the number.

The spread discussed in the video also varies. Gamble Guy mentions betting information at -2.5 while making his selection at -5. Those are materially different wagers: a three-point Florida victory covers -2.5 but loses at -5.

Accordingly, the article’s pick stays anchored to the actual selection, Florida -5. Betting percentages quoted at another number should not be treated as proof of value at that line.

Florida’s route to a cover is to establish its ground game, finish drives and force Missouri to chase the score. The opposing case is that the Tigers keep the game competitive enough for a narrow Gators victory to fall short of the wager.

No. 10 BYU at TCU: Cougars need a touchdown of separation

Gamble Guy’s selection: BYU -6.5

BYU completes the parlay with a trip to Fort Worth. The Cougars’ official game-week page identifies them as No. 10 and lists a 3-0 record entering the October 3 matchup against 2-2 TCU. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern.

In his third video, Gamble Guy calls BYU his strongest selection of the group. His analysis centers on the Cougars’ running game, their ability to sustain possessions and their opportunity to build a lead through second-half adjustments.

The tactical appeal is clear. If BYU can consistently gain yards on the ground, it can keep its offense out of difficult passing situations while reducing TCU’s opportunities to take control.

However, the spread demands more than a steady performance. At -6.5, the Cougars need to win by at least seven points. A six-point win would cash a straight-up wager but lose this spread selection.

Gamble Guy reports that BYU won 69 of 100 simulations, the highest win count among his three selections. Yet the Cougars covered -6.5 in only 49 trials. The reported average score was BYU 27.4, TCU 20.2.

That 7.2-point average margin sits slightly above the spread. Nevertheless, an average can exceed the line even when fewer than half of the individual trials cover. Larger victories in some trials can lift the mean.

The result is a narrower statistical argument than the host’s confidence might suggest. His preference for BYU is an analytical judgment, while the stated cover count remains close to an even split.

TCU’s opportunity is to prevent long scoring drives and keep the game within one possession. BYU’s task is to turn possession control into points and avoid leaving the final outcome dependent on a late stop.

The three-team parlay: Every spread matters

Gamble Guy’s card combines Alabama -6, Florida -5 and BYU -6.5. All three teams could win their games without delivering a winning parlay, because the selections depend on victory margins.

At the +600 price quoted in the videos, a $10 winning stake would generate $60 in profit and a $70 total return. At +612, the same stake would generate $61.20 in profit and a $71.20 total return, if that boosted price were available.

A +600 price corresponds to a break-even probability of approximately 14.3%, before any further considerations. That is a pricing calculation, not an estimate of this parlay’s actual chance of winning.

The reported simulations do not establish a strong statistical edge for the combination. Their cover counts were 51 for Alabama, 44 for Florida and 49 for BYU out of 100 trials each. Without the underlying method and trial data, they cannot verify the parlay’s probability or value.

The selections ultimately rest on Gamble Guy’s assessment of how the matchups will unfold: Alabama finishing drives, Florida sustaining its rushing production and BYU creating a touchdown of separation.
